IM what???

I received a request for my IM address from a friend of mine, and I have no clue how to do this. I have become lazy in learning new computer things. I know IM is not new. At my previous job, I watched several of the ladies signed on and IM each other and their friends. I just never did. I feel like I have been left behind. Now, I work for a different company who watches internet usage like hawks. I would like to start IMing with some of my friends, but I am terrified of of the Company's System guys. Oh well, I guess I will stay in the dark ages.

Blog addict?

I really do not have much to say/write. I am not as witty or creative as some out there who blog. But, I would love for people to read & comment on my blog. Although, I have been a lurker on many, many blogs for the last two years and never once commented.

I became addicted to reading other's blogs by a google search. I googled Mr. Chera's company, and found a wife who blogs. What is the chance of that? I continue to read hers and her links. And, in the process found so many cool and interesting people. Before my google search, I had not heard of blogs. Now, I can not go one day without reading one of my daily reads. I hope to have many readers one day.

Little Darling

Little Darling, who is 3 yrs. old, did something at school yesterday that I never imagined she would do...She had a beautiful, new haircut...a cute pageboy haircut. Noticed how I used the word "had". We just had it cut last Wed. before the funeral and visitation with all our relatives.

Well, she cut a chunk of her bangs - this chunk is about 1/4" long! She also made small cuts to each side. The two sides are not that noticeable, but the front is. She told me, "It was an accident, Mommy." She made these three cuts before the teacher saw her. Snip, snip, snip...

Mr. Chera came home late last night, and immediately went to her room to see her hair. He was so upset about her hair. He wants to take her this weekend to see if a hairdresser can do something to help the appearance. I suggested we just let it grow out. We will see what we do this weekend.

I normally lurk on our people's blogs, and seldom comment. I guess I need to start commenting and e-mailing, so I can get some visits and comments!

I'm back

Well, we made it back! We were able to see snow. Little Darlin' was so excited. I took tons of pics, and will try to post in the next few days. We are so tired, and have to go back to work in the a.m.

Traveling

Mr. Chera's grandmother passed away tonight. I am so sad for him. He was so close to his G & G. He has been blessed to have both of his grandparents for so long. Some people do not have this luxury. Although saying this to him, does not lift the grief he is feeling. We will be leaving for MN in the a.m. to be there for his Grandpa and Mom.

Work week & intro

I am not lucky enough to work for the state, financial institution, etc. to have MLK day off. So, I have been working on getting everything that may or may not be needed this week for the Chera family. The Chera family consists of Mr. Chera, Mrs. Chera (myself), and Little Darling Chera. I guess I should have named my blog Mrs. Chera, but I just was not thinking. Oh well, I just hope to get some comments, and be blogrolled on some the blogs I have been reading/lurking around the last couple of years!
